About the Role

As a key member of our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation, the Executive Underwriter - Complex Risk Specialist will play a critical role in developing and implementing customized insurance solutions for our commercial clients. This involves working closely with our extensive broker network to identify and mitigate complex risks, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible coverage for their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement complex underwriting strategies to mitigate risks and ensure optimal coverage for clients
  • Collaborate with our broker network to identify and assess complex risks, and develop tailored solutions to address these risks
  • Provide expert guidance and support to our underwriting team to ensure that all clients receive the best possible service
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform our underwriting strategies and risk assessments

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in underwriting and risk assessment, with a focus on complex commercial risks
  • Strong knowledge of insurance industry trends and developments, and the ability to apply this knowledge to inform underwriting strategies and risk assessments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex risks
