The Underwriting Expert is tasked with evaluating and managing complex accounts, adhering to set guidelines and business objectives to meet national standards for data integrity and service commitments. Our Underwriting Experts are seasoned professionals in their domain, dedicated to fostering robust relationships with brokers. This commitment ensures that communications are promptly addressed, and face-to-face broker consultations are routinely scheduled. Within a cooperative team environment, there is a chance to guide and mentor junior colleagues while enhancing your own skills through insights from more experienced underwriters, thereby expanding your expertise in handling complex risks.
Desired Skills and Attributes
Ideal candidates will excel in:
- Underwriting – executing renewal rates, assessing, and negotiating appropriate rates
- Sales and negotiation tactics

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in Underwriting
- Completion or pursuit of CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations
