We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sun Communities, Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests
- Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to support menu offerings
- Culinary Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results
- Provide guidance and training to ensure staff are equipped to deliver outstanding service
- Food Safety and Quality
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and handling procedures
- Monitor and maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and preferences
- Ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a senior kitchen role
- Skills and Abilities
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
