About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2477668 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and customer satisfaction
    • Ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to meet the demands of our kitchen
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure that all kitchen staff are working efficiently and effectively
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand
    • Implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce waste and minimize costs
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols
    • Implement procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure that all food is handled and prepared safely
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment
