Position: Senior Pricing Specialist (Litigation)

Location: Multiple offices in Canada and New York

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Client Development team and legal professionals to devise pricing strategies for Litigation proposals.
  • Construct litigation-focused budgets and pricing frameworks.
  • Deliver financial assessments and pricing scenarios to support critical business decisions.
  • Formulate matter plans and templates tailored to various case types.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance pricing capabilities and tools.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing client cost predictability and firm profitability.
  • Provide training and mentorship to colleagues and professionals as required.
  • Assist in establishing Alternative Fee Arrangement (AFA) setups in billing systems and address other general inquiries.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.

Experience: At least five years of experience within the legal sector, ideally in litigation.

  • Exceptional analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies, negotiation techniques, and financial instruments.
  • Capability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive approach with an emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement.
