Pricing Strategy Specialist

About The Role:
Drive analytical initiatives – generate insights through both quantitative and qualitative evaluations, employing problem-solving techniques and constructing models to guide pivotal decisions regarding seasonal pricing and long-term pricing strategies on a global scale. Oversee & disseminate global pricing documentation across all regions (NA, EMEA, APAC), ensuring that Planning, Sales Teams, and Store Operations possess the necessary information as they engage in market activities. Conduct competitive analysis – assist in establishing a center of excellence focused on competitive pricing landscapes for existing and forthcoming product categories. Foster & sustain collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams in Planning, Finance, Merchandising, Sourcing, Business Insights, Store Operations, Logistics, and E-commerce. Spearhead the creation of tools aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Pricing team. This includes, but is not limited to: Developing PowerBI Dashboards, Excel Macros/Python scripts, and competitor website scraping tools. Aid the internal control framework by proposing enhancements and supplying necessary information during audit procedures, sample evaluations, and more. Contribute to Pricing-related initiatives and address any challenges that may arise throughout the process. This encompasses areas such as Price Elasticity and Global Pricing Index. Support the onboarding and training of new team members.About You:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pricing-focused role within an apparel company or retail environment. Demonstrated capability to analyze, assess, and provide recommendations on pricing matters. Proven experience in model building, strong proficiency in MS Excel, and familiarity with coding. Experience with or interest in financial analysis tools – such as PowerBI, SQL, and/or data warehousing tools, is a significant advantage. Problem solver – adept at structuring, deconstructing, and resolving intricate business challenges. Analytical – skilled in analyzing and deriving conclusions from extensive and/or complex data sources (both qualitative and quantitative). Financial acumen – possesses a solid understanding of financial analysis and working knowledge of financial statements. Product-oriented – has a strong passion for product development. Effective communicator – capable of synthesizing ideas and insights for effective sharing with others. Collaborative – proficient in partnering with other functions and business leaders to tackle complex problems and business challenges. Intellectually curious – passionate about business and the apparel/fashion industry, enjoys tackling problems.
