Culinary Operations Supervisor

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Develop and implement methods to ensure efficient work schedules.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare budget plans and cost estimates for operations.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Compile and submit operational reports as required.
- Supervise the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food service carts.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 staff members.
Work Environment- Fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Requires standing for extended periods and engaging in physically demanding tasks.
- Strong client focus and commitment to service excellence.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks.
- Minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Permanent position with a work schedule of 35 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
