We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Lake House Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation
Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Food Requisition and InventoryRequisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records to prevent stock shortages.
Culinary Skills and PresentationPrepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to a high standard, ensuring presentation and quality meet our restaurant's expectations.
Customer Service and SafetyPrepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.
Work Environment and MaintenanceInspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements- Education and Experience
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
Work Setting and LanguageWork in a fast-paced restaurant environment, communicating effectively in English.
Work Hours and TermWork 30 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
