Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services at A&W. This position involves overseeing the daily activities of food preparation and service, ensuring that all standards of quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Training: Provide training to team members on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety measures.
  • Resource Planning: Estimate and procure necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service meet established quality control standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates for operations.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on operational performance.
  • Tray Assembly Supervision: Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food services.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for overseeing a team of 5-10 employees.
