We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to represent our leasing and finance division. This role presents a unique opportunity to achieve unlimited earnings, operate independently, and significantly influence our customers' experiences.

As a Business Development Manager, you will oversee your designated territory, focusing on fostering relationships within the greater Minnesota area. The ideal candidate will possess a background in truck, trailer, or heavy equipment sales, as well as finance and leasing sectors. A strong understanding of the regional market and established industry connections are essential.

Your responsibilities will involve spending approximately half of your time traveling to meet with both existing and potential clients, while the other half will be dedicated to office tasks. Your office location will be flexible based on your residence.

Travel is required for about 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales and gross profit targets established by the Sales Manager.
  • Drive growth and development within the assigned region.
  • Continuously identify, qualify, and cultivate relationships with new clients.
  • Maintain direct and regular communication with all customers.
  • Utilize customer relationships to assist with collections and repossessions when necessary.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
  • Deliver prompt, courteous, and precise service to clients.
  • Stay informed about all policies, products, and programs.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Complete tasks within the allocated budget for travel and entertainment.
  • Participate in trade shows and other relevant events as required.
  • Travel approximately 50% within the designated territory.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent sitting for extended periods in an office environment.
  • Requires coordination and dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide professional verbal feedback.
  • Ability to analyze data and input it into the computer system.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Normal hearing and vision range.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
  • Experience in truck and/or equipment financing.
  • Background in finance, truck, or equipment sales.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Microsoft applications.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic market.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical, and drug screening.
