Executive Director, Transportation Operations

We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our transportation operations at All Directions Transport. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our fleet and ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our transportation operations.
- Operational Management: Oversee the management of our fleet, including the allocation of resources, the management of budgets, and the implementation of policies and procedures.
- Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Communication and Representation: Represent the company in negotiations and other official functions, and ensure that our values and policies are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a senior management role in the transportation industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Security and Safety: Bondable and willing to undergo a criminal record check.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and team player.
