Bilingual Distribution Support Specialist

Honda Canada Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to join our Sales Support Group as a Bilingual Distribution Support Specialist. This role is crucial in facilitating the operations of our Motorcycle, ATV, Power Equipment, and Marine dealer network across the nation.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient release of orders and products, addressing dealer inquiries, and managing the distribution of units and models. This position requires a proactive approach to monitor dealer network procedures and prepare essential documentation for various operational measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective sales support to the Motorcycle-ATV-PE-Marine dealer network by engaging in daily Sales Support Group tasks.
  • Oversee the daily release of dealership products to ensure timely availability.
  • Act as a liaison among Dealers, Honda Finance Inc., carriers, and warehouses to facilitate prompt order releases.
  • Assist dealers with inquiries regarding unit requests, including distribution and arrival schedules.
  • Identify gaps in processes and provide necessary documentation for countermeasure proposals when required.
  • Maintain an accurate database of Zone MCPE demo units, display models, and damaged inventory.
  • Represent Honda at promotional events, including trade shows and rallies.

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of the power sports industry, including motorcycles, ATVs, and marine equipment.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced team environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on achieving results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships within Honda North America and with external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach to management and departmental objectives.
