Position Overview
Our client is seeking dynamic and seasoned Bilingual Insurance Advisors to contribute to their remarkable expansion in the Direct to Consumer Distribution sector. The ideal candidates will assist in managing their Direct, Group, and Affinity portfolios by delivering tailored insurance solutions to both new and existing clientele. They are looking for sales-driven and customer-centric individuals who excel in a high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing customer insurance requirements and providing suitable insurance solutions
  • Quoting and selling Home and Auto insurance policies
  • Guiding new clients through their Home and Auto insurance options
  • Updating existing customers' policies to meet their evolving needs and introducing new products as necessary
  • Enhancing customer retention by delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Underwriting new business, policy endorsements, and renewals by gathering essential information from clients for pricing and risk evaluation
  • Staying informed on underwriting practices and regulatory standards
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education (College Diploma or University Degree)
  • Proven sales and customer service experience (required)
  • OTL or RIBO licensing is considered an asset
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Customer-oriented with a knack for aligning products with client needs
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks independently
  • Proficient computer skills with a willingness to learn new software
  • Experience in insurance sales/service and underwriting is a plus
  • Progress towards CIP or FCIP designation is advantageous
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive base salary, performance bonuses, four weeks of annual vacation (pro-rated based on start date), pension plan, RSP program, flexible benefits, and opportunities to engage in discounted products and wellness initiatives.
