About the Role
The Franchise Sales Coordinator is a key member of the Pet Valu team, responsible for supporting the growth and development of our franchise network. This role will work closely with the Senior Franchise Director to drive business results and achieve franchise sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute franchise disclosure documents for Pet Valu Canada Inc. and Bosley's Pet Food Plus, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a filing system for prospect applications, disclosure receipts, and deposit receipts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Compile and send franchise information packages to franchise leads, and maintain a database of franchise prospects to track progress and identify opportunities.
- Maintain and update the list of available locations on the franchise website, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Compile reports for the Senior Franchise Director as needed, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
- Coordinate POP requests for stores through the marketing department, approximately three times per year, and write internal communications/memos regarding contest rules.
- Investigate and test new methods of marketing franchise opportunities across Canada, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective franchisees and the general public as the initial point of contact with Pet Valu, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements
- Post-secondary diploma or degree, preferably in a business-related discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in an office environment, with a strong understanding of business operations and franchise development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build rapport with others and drive business results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive and professional presentation content.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Access, with demonstrated ability to perform mail merge, import external data, filter columns, and create database queries.
