Product Owner - Card Payments
At FinSANA, we are on the lookout for a talented and seasoned Product Owner to enhance our innovative team, directly reporting to the Director of Global Payments. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving strategic projects that enrich our suite of payment solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the Product Owner (PO) for all initiatives related to Card payments, adhering to Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Contribute significantly to the design, co-ownership, and execution of the card payment initiatives roadmap.
  • Act as a liaison among Business stakeholders, Software development teams, Financial Operations, and most importantly, our customers.
  • Focus areas for this role include:
  • Aligning vision and product strategy for Card payment technologies.
  • Defining customer experience (UX/UI).
  • Managing prioritization and roadmap development.
  • Owning backlog items effectively.
  • Demonstrating adaptability through continuous engagement and learning.
  • Leading feature design and exploration by identifying and prioritizing new product features based on thorough market research and data analysis.
  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless communication across all departments.
  • Driving product roadmap commitments related to Card payments, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
  • Managing the product backlog by curating and prioritizing items based on Business Unit requirements.
  • Engaging stakeholders by effectively communicating product objectives and updates.
  • Ensuring quality assurance by acting as the end user during QA processes to guarantee customer satisfaction with card payment products.
  • Establishing and maintaining Key Performance Indicator reports (daily/weekly) for all Card payment products across various brands.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong understanding of third-party payment processor functions and operations.
  • Experience with ERP and accounting software.
  • Familiarity with bank account reconciliation processes.
  • Basic knowledge of the loan servicing sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in the banking or card processing sector (including gift, loyalty, rewards, and payments).
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills.
  • Familiarity with industry accounting practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
