Position Overview:

As a Product Owner within the Cards division at National Bank, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the execution strategy of projects, ensuring comprehensive delivery of business capabilities that are evolving within the credit card ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize a strategic vision to maximize value delivery, while considering interdependencies across various sectors, including managing the product backlog.
  • Assess and prioritize delivery tasks based on user needs, emphasizing customer satisfaction, IT constraints, and the impact on both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of initiative delivery and contribute to the successful realization of the solution development roadmap.
  • Facilitate effective change management processes that are integrated and sequenced holistically.
  • Continuously enhance and refine the product to improve user experience, addressing both current and future requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, keeping them informed about initiative progress and solution status, while effectively communicating the product vision and navigating complex scenarios.

Your Team:

The Cards division is a vibrant and dedicated team that operates in an agile, proactive, and collaborative manner, striving to seize opportunities and enhance processes. You will report to the Senior Director and collaborate with a diverse group of Product Owners and advisors, benefiting from the rich expertise and varied backgrounds of your colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in delivering solutions.
  • Experience in managing agile projects.
  • Familiarity with the banking product landscape.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), with the ability to deliver without complete specifications.
  • Strong leadership skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Capability to maximize business value for clients and the organization.
  • Understanding of technical concepts with the ability to communicate them clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience, or a master's degree with at least 4 years of experience.

Language Requirements:

Fluency in English and French is essential, as regular communication with service providers and partners who speak languages other than French is required.
