Senior Product Owner: Card Solutions

Area of Focus:

Project oversight and agile practices. In the role of Product Owner within the Cards division at Banque Nationale du Canada, you will serve as the conductor of the execution strategy for projects, ensuring comprehensive delivery (from user experience to backend systems) of business capabilities that will be transformed in whole or in part through the advancement of the credit card ecosystem. Your efforts will help expedite the transformation of the card experience for both customers and staff.

By slicing and sequencing a targeted vision, you will maximize value delivery while considering interdependencies across sectors, which includes:
Developing and managing the product backlog.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of initiatives and will contribute to achieving the roadmap for solution development.

The Cards team is a vibrant and dedicated group of 50 professionals who operate in an agile, proactive, and collaborative manner to seize opportunities and continuously enhance processes.

Reporting to the Senior Director, you will collaborate with a team of Product Owners and advisors. Access to colleagues with diverse expertise and backgrounds will enrich your professional development from all perspectives.
Experience in agile methodologies is essential.

You should be capable of working in Agile environments: Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and deliver results even without complete specifications.

A solid understanding of technical concepts and the ability to articulate them in straightforward terms is necessary.

A relevant bachelor's degree and 6 years of pertinent experience OR a relevant master's degree and 4 years of pertinent experience are required.


Language Requirements:

Proficiency in this language is necessary as you will frequently engage with service providers or partners who communicate in a language other than French.
