Position Overview:

As a Product Owner within the Cards division at National Bank, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the execution strategy for projects aimed at enhancing the credit card ecosystem. Your focus will be on ensuring comprehensive delivery of business capabilities that evolve through the Eco Evo Program, thereby transforming the card experience for both customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize a strategic vision to maximize value delivery, while managing interdependencies across various sectors, including the development and maintenance of the product backlog.
  • Prioritize project activities based on user needs, balancing customer interests, IT constraints, and the impact on both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of initiative delivery and contribute to the successful execution of the solution development roadmap.
  • Facilitate effective change management processes that are integrated and sequenced comprehensively.
  • Continuously enhance the product by implementing improvements and addressing issues to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, keeping them informed about project progress and solution status, while effectively communicating the product vision and navigating complex scenarios.

Your Team:

The Cards division is a vibrant and dedicated team of professionals who operate in an agile, proactive, and collaborative environment. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will collaborate with a diverse group of Product Owners and advisors, gaining insights from colleagues with varied expertise and backgrounds.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in delivering solutions.
  • Background in managing agile projects.
  • Familiarity with the banking product landscape.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), with the ability to deliver effectively even with incomplete specifications.
  • Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to optimize business value for both clients and the organization.
  • Understanding of technical concepts with the capability to communicate them clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience, or a master's degree with at least 4 years of experience.

Language Requirements:

Proficiency in English and French is essential, as frequent communication with service providers and partners who speak various languages is required.
