Position Overview:

As a Product Owner within the Cards division at National Bank, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the execution strategy of various projects. Your focus will be on ensuring comprehensive delivery of business capabilities that are evolving within the credit card ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize a clear vision to maximize value delivery, while considering interdependencies across sectors, including managing the product backlog.
  • Assess and prioritize delivery tasks based on user needs, ensuring a customer-first approach while balancing IT constraints and the impact on stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of initiative delivery and contribute to the roadmap for solution development.
  • Facilitate effective change management processes that are well-integrated and sequenced.
  • Continuously enhance the product by implementing improvements and addressing issues to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Maintain engagement with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on initiative progress and solution status, while effectively communicating the product vision.

Your Team:

The Cards team is a vibrant group of professionals dedicated to agile methodologies and collaborative improvement. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will collaborate with a diverse team of Product Owners and advisors, gaining insights from varied expertise and experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in delivering solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile project methodologies.
  • Knowledge of banking products.
  • Ability to operate in Agile environments: Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Strong leadership skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Capability to maximize business value for both clients and the organization.
  • Understanding of technical concepts with the ability to communicate them clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant educational background with significant experience in the industry.

Language Requirements:

Proficiency in English and French is essential for effective communication with service providers and partners.
