Position Overview

The Culinary Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all food service activities run smoothly and efficiently.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced restaurant setting where attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates for operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Possess knowledge of the restaurant's culinary offerings.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.

Experience Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with a minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience.
