Position Overview

Our dynamic team of product designers is eager to expand as Arista continues to grow. With the CloudVision product evolving rapidly, we seek a new designer to lead innovative projects and leave a lasting impact on our offerings.

In an era where computer networks significantly shape data interactions across various sectors, your role as a Product Designer for CloudVision is crucial. You will revolutionize the deployment, management, and oversight of networking solutions. This position is both exciting and fulfilling, allowing you to creatively address user challenges, simplify complex processes into user-friendly interfaces, and achieve a profound sense of accomplishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify critical business challenges and articulate features and user experiences to address them.
  • Translate business and customer needs into effective, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing solutions.
  • Utilize strong systems thinking to enhance existing workflows and user experiences for scalability.
  • Conduct user research and analyze data to gain insights into user needs, behaviors, and motivations that drive engagement and value realization.
  • Convert abstract ideas into simple, elegant, and innovative designs through sketches, diagrams, rapid prototypes, and final executions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to understand customer and market needs, develop product strategies, and ensure successful market releases.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of your design solutions, identifying strategies for enhancement and improvement.
  • Exhibit accountability and ownership of your work, ensuring attention to detail at every stage.
  • Contribute to the evolution of design practices and resources, supporting the digital maturity of our organization.
Qualifications

The CloudVision UI encompasses extensive workflows across multiple applications, necessitating a skilled designer who thrives on challenges. This role requires a steadfast commitment to enhancing design expertise, innovative thinking, and effective communication of design concepts.

If you possess the following qualifications, we encourage you to consider this opportunity:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in user research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and usability testing, demonstrated through an impressive portfolio.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, including typography, color selection, interaction patterns, and user flows, recognizing the significant impact of even minor details on user experience.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a complex enterprise setting with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiently manage multiple projects and competing priorities while effectively communicating trade-offs.
  • Empathy for users and a customer-centric approach.
  • Capability to persuade and influence stakeholders to support your ideas, backed by compelling arguments and evidence.
  • Strong analytical skills, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
  • A deep sense of ownership and accountability for the quality of your work.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay for this role ranges from $115,000 to $163,000 across Canada, with variations based on work location to ensure competitive compensation. Actual base pay will be determined by various factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and location.

In addition to base pay, certain roles may qualify for discretionary bonuses and equity. Employees in Sales roles may participate in a Sales Incentive Plan, which compensates based on eligible sales. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, income protection, and a Group Retirement Savings Plan. Further details will be provided during the hiring process.
