Sales Insights Analyst

Position Overview: The Sales Strategy Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Management team at Lindt & Sprüngli (Canada), Inc. This position focuses on analyzing sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to generate actionable insights that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Reporting: Produce and disseminate daily sales performance reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monthly Analysis: Compile detailed monthly reports that highlight sales trends, accomplishments, and areas needing attention.
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Develop customized reports as needed to provide insights into specific sales activities or market dynamics.
- Data Analysis: Examine sales data to uncover patterns, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Strategic Recommendations: Formulate actionable insights and recommendations based on thorough data analysis to enhance sales strategies.
- Analytical Tools: Employ advanced analytical tools and methodologies to identify potential risks and opportunities in meeting internal objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Key Account managers to ensure alignment of sales strategies with broader business objectives.
- Integrated Sales Initiatives: Engage in cross-functional meetings and projects to promote cohesive sales initiatives.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to enhance communication and collaboration.
- Reporting Expertise: Act as the primary resource for internal reporting and forecasting systems, offering guidance and support to team members.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data within reporting systems, implementing necessary improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest reporting and forecasting tools to enhance system capabilities.
- Presentation Skills: Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders effectively.
- Data Visualization: Utilize data visualization tools to create impactful charts, graphs, and dashboards that convey critical insights.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business-related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Packaged Goods sector or a similar role.
- Familiarity with AC Nielsen is advantageous.
- Understanding of the Efficient Consumer Response (E.C.R.) process and category management principles.
- Intermediate knowledge of Cognos PowerPlay, Nielsen Workstation Plus, or similar tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in project-based work.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Entrepreneurial mindset is a plus.
