The Sales Performance Analyst will report directly to the Director of Sales Strategy and will play a pivotal role in supporting the Lindt Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Management team. This position involves thorough data examination of gross and net sales figures, market intelligence, consumer behavior, and customer sales data to derive actionable insights that align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and disseminate daily sales performance reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Develop detailed monthly reports that encapsulate sales trends, accomplishments, and potential areas for enhancement.
  • Generate custom reports as requested by the Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth Managers to provide clarity on specific sales activities or market dynamics.
  • Examine sales data to uncover patterns, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Formulate actionable insights and recommendations derived from data analysis to propel sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Employ advanced analytical methodologies to pinpoint potential risks and opportunities to achieve internal KPIs and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and Key Account managers to ensure alignment of sales strategies with broader business goals.
  • Engage in cross-departmental meetings and projects to foster cohesive and integrated sales initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Act as the primary resource for all internal reporting and forecasting systems, offering guidance and support to team members.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data within reporting systems, implementing enhancements as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest tools and technologies in reporting and forecasting to continuously improve system functionalities.
  • Prepare and present findings to senior management and stakeholders, clearly communicating key insights and recommendations.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to create engaging charts, graphs, and dashboards that emphasize critical insights.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business-related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Packaged Goods sector or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with AC Nielsen is advantageous.
  • Understanding of the Efficient Consumer Response (E.C.R.) process and category management principles.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Cognos PowerPlay, Nielsen Workstation Plus, or Answers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with experience in project-based work.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset is a plus.
