The Sales Insights Specialist will report directly to the Director of Sales Strategy, providing essential support to the Lindt Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Management team. This role focuses on analyzing sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to generate actionable insights that align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and disseminate daily sales performance reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Compile detailed monthly reports that highlight sales trends, accomplishments, and potential areas for enhancement.
  • Develop customized reports as needed by the Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth Managers to shed light on specific sales initiatives or market dynamics.
  • Examine sales data to uncover patterns, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Formulate actionable insights and recommendations derived from data analysis to propel sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Employ advanced analytical methodologies to pinpoint potential risks and opportunities to achieve internal KPIs and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and Key Account managers to ensure sales strategies are in harmony with broader business objectives.
  • Engage in cross-departmental meetings and projects to foster a unified approach to sales initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Act as the primary resource for all internal reporting and forecasting systems, offering guidance and support to team members.
  • Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of data within reporting systems, implementing enhancements as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in reporting and forecasting tools to continually improve system capabilities.
  • Prepare and present findings to senior management and stakeholders, effectively conveying key insights and recommendations.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to craft engaging charts, graphs, and dashboards that emphasize critical insights.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Packaged Goods sector or a comparable role.
  • Familiarity with AC Nielsen is advantageous.
  • Understanding of the Efficient Consumer Response (E.C.R.) process and category management principles.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Cognos PowerPlay, Nielsen Workstation Plus, or Answers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with experience in project-based work.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset is a plus.
