Note: This is a contract position.

The Accessory Operations Coordinator will enhance and support the accessory business for Honda, Acura, Powersports, and Power Equipment by meeting sales objectives through the development and execution of marketing initiatives, online content, printed materials, and various sales resources. This role will also involve the maintenance and updating of accessory information through application charts, installation guides, and image assets.

Collaboration with the Parts and Inventory teams will be essential for accessory order management, procurement processes, and pricing strategies. Additionally, the coordinator will oversee parts and service budget management, including tracking financial transactions and vendor invoice processing. Responsibilities will also include managing direct ship sales transactions and reporting on metrics related to parts, accessories, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing advertising materials for Auto and Powersports accessories, including brochures, and providing creative direction for online content and image assets.
  2. Managing accessory programs, including new model introductions and special initiatives.
  3. Coordinating the comprehensive rollout of accessory programs, ensuring updated order information and collaboration with Parts, Logistics, and warehouse teams for timely deliveries.
  4. Maintaining and updating the Accessory Application Chart for dealer reference.
  5. Conducting accessory pricing analysis, evaluating new models and special programs, and analyzing competition for pricing proposals.
  6. Forecasting accessory needs, analyzing historical data, and ensuring adequate stock levels for new launches.
  7. Providing information and support to dealers or zone staff regarding accessory programs.
  8. Updating the Oils/Chemicals Application Chart for dealer use.
  9. Managing bookkeeping tasks, including processing payments and tracking transactions.
  10. Reconciling Parts and Service budget expenditures monthly and annually with relevant stakeholders.
  11. Processing direct ship parts sales transactions, including daily EDI file management and account reconciliations.
  12. Preparing scheduled and ad hoc reports related to parts, accessories, and services, while optimizing departmental efficiency.
Qualifications:
  1. College diploma in a relevant field.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive, Marketing/Advertising, or Accounting/Finance.
  3. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset.
  4. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with VBA programming and intermediate knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint is preferred.
  5. Experience with accounting software such as SAP or Ariba is advantageous.
  6. Intermediate proficiency in Photoshop or design software.
  7. Experience working with data cubes for data extraction is a plus (e.g., BI Reports, Cognos, MS Access).
  8. Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships within the team.
  9. Strong collaborative skills with internal departments and affiliated subsidiaries.
  10. Appreciation for a team-oriented management approach.
