The Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the Honda, Acura, Powersports, and Power Equipment accessory sectors by meeting sales objectives through the development and execution of marketing initiatives, digital content, printed materials, and various sales resources. This role involves the ongoing maintenance and updating of accessory details via application charts, installation guides, and visual assets.

Additionally, the specialist will collaborate closely with the Parts and Inventory teams concerning accessory procurement and pricing strategies. Responsibilities will also include managing parts and service financial records, tracking expenditures against budgets, and processing vendor invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing advertising materials for Auto and Powersports accessories, including brochures, and overseeing the approval of visual assets while providing creative guidance.
  2. Managing accessory programs for new model launches and special initiatives.
  3. Coordinating the comprehensive rollout of accessory programs, ensuring accurate order information and collaboration with Parts, Logistics, and warehouses for timely deliveries.
  4. Updating and maintaining the Accessory Application Chart for dealer reference.
  5. Conducting pricing analysis for accessories, including evaluations of new models and special programs, as well as monthly financial assessments.
  6. Forecasting accessory needs for new models or special programs by analyzing historical data to ensure adequate stock levels at launch.
  7. Providing information and support to dealers or zone staff regarding accessory programs.
  8. Maintaining and updating the Oils/Chemicals Application Chart for dealer reference.
  9. Handling bookkeeping tasks, including processing payments and tracking financial transactions.
  10. Reconciling Parts and Service budget expenditures on a monthly and yearly basis with relevant stakeholders.
  11. Processing direct ship sales transactions, including managing daily EDI files from vendors and performing account reconciliations.
  12. Preparing scheduled reports on parts, accessories, and services, along with ad hoc reports as necessary, while enhancing departmental efficiency through macro file revisions.
Qualifications:
  1. Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field.
  2. A minimum of three years of experience in Automotive, Marketing/Advertising, or Accounting/Finance.
  3. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is advantageous.
  4. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential; familiarity with VBA programming and intermediate knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint is beneficial.
  5. Experience with accounting software such as SAP or Ariba is a plus.
  6. Intermediate-level proficiency in Photoshop or design software.
  7. Experience working with data cubes for data extraction is an asset (e.g., BI Reports, Cognos, MS Access).
  8. Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships within the team.
  9. Capability to build collaborative partnerships with internal departments and affiliated entities.
  10. A preference for a team-oriented management style that emphasizes shared results.
