Automotive Marketing and Product Development Specialist

Position Overview:
3 Step Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a Marketing & Product Specialist with a strong background in the automotive sector. This role is essential for the effective introduction of new automotive accessories, as well as the management of sales tools and digital resources.

Location: Markham.

Employment Type: Full-time permanent.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000.

Benefits: Health & Dental coverage, RRSP contributions, and vehicle discount programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough research to maintain a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, product offerings, and potential sales opportunities.
  2. Develop and present strategic business proposals for both new and existing automotive accessories and related programs.
  3. Work collaboratively with Product Development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure the successful rollout and ongoing support of product lines.
  4. Oversee the management and updating of accessory application documentation and related materials.
  5. Curate and manage digital content, ensuring its accuracy and availability for stakeholders.
  6. Analyze sales trends and implement effective promotional strategies for current products.
  7. Track and report on sales initiatives and marketing campaigns.
  8. Establish and maintain robust relationships with internal departments, business partners, suppliers, and clients.
  9. Represent the organization at industry trade shows and events as necessary.
  10. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience within the automotive industry.
  2. A degree or diploma in automotive studies, marketing, business, sales, or a related discipline.
  3. Experience in digital marketing is considered an asset.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  5. Proficiency in creating and editing digital content.
  6. Solid working knowledge of computer applications and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  7. Able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  8. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  9. A collaborative mindset with a strong emphasis on customer service and a genuine passion for the automotive field.
