Position Overview
The primary objective of this role is to enhance the sales and profitability of parts and accessories for Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. and its dealership network. This position will also explore new program opportunities to drive additional sales and support in dropship, national accounts, and future business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate booking programs related to parts and accessories, including seasonal promotions.
- Collaborate with the Parts Operations Manager to identify and develop new opportunities, including establishing drop-ship suppliers.
- Oversee drop-ship accounts, providing performance analysis and recommendations for enhancements.
- Engage with suppliers and vendors to boost overall competitiveness, sales, and profitability for Hyundai and its dealers.
- Facilitate communication with the Dealer Network and Field staff.
- Maintain departmental budgets, track vendor rebates, and manage invoices.
- Assist the Parts Operations Manager in updating and maintaining drop-ship vendor contracts.
- Support the management of drop-ship accounts and provide performance insights and proposals for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Parts Operations Manager to support vendor rebate and reward initiatives.
Qualifications
- A completed undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau is preferred.
- Excellent project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with the Canadian automotive market.
