About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Supervisor to lead and manage our concrete finishing teams at Yes Concrete Cutting and Coring Inc. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our concrete finishing department, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 concrete finishers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of concrete finishing projects, ensuring that all deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members follow health and safety protocols and procedures, and report any incidents or near-misses to management.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and provide opportunities for team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the concrete finishing industry
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving skills
