We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2531637 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.
Job Summary:The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection of dishes.
- Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food preparation and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, and monitoring food quality to prevent contamination.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery, maintaining a positive and respectful team environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
