Position Overview:

As a Senior Enterprise Sales Executive at Databricks, you will leverage your extensive experience in engaging with large enterprise clients. Your expertise in driving innovation and facilitating change will be key in advancing customer visions and accelerating decision-making processes. You possess a deep understanding of our products and are enthusiastic about conveying their value to both Customers and System Integrators. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. In addition to the potential for closing significant deals, we provide incentives for exceeding 100% of your sales targets.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present a comprehensive territory strategy within your initial 90 days.
  • Engage with CIOs, IT leaders, business unit executives, program managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Successfully close new business while managing and expanding existing accounts.
  • Identify and secure quick wins while overseeing longer, more intricate sales processes.
  • Surpass activity, pipeline, and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Utilize a solution-oriented sales approach to create value for clients.
  • Advocate for Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform, powered by Apache Spark.
  • Ensure complete satisfaction among all clients.
  • Prioritize opportunities effectively and allocate appropriate resources.
  • Formulate a success plan both internally at Databricks and externally with your clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an early-stage company, demonstrating the ability to navigate and thrive.
  • Field sales experience in big data, Cloud, or SaaS environments.
  • Established relationships with CIOs, program managers, and other critical decision-makers.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex cloud technologies.
  • Over 5 years of experience consistently exceeding sales targets in the enterprise sector.
  • Proven success in closing new accounts while managing existing relationships.
  • Familiarity with Spark and big data is advantageous.
  • A strong passion for cloud technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
