We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Sales Development Manager within our leasing and finance division. This role presents a unique opportunity to generate unlimited income while working independently and making a significant impact on our clients' lives. As a Sales Development Manager, you will oversee your designated territory.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in the truck, trailer, or heavy equipment sales and/or finance and leasing sectors, with a deep understanding of the regional market dynamics. Strong industry connections are essential. In this position, you will allocate approximately half of your time visiting current and potential clients, while the remainder will be spent in an office environment, which may vary based on your residence.

Travel is required approximately 50% of the time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Achieve sales and gross profit targets established by the Sales Manager.
  • Drive growth and development within the assigned region.
  • Continuously seek, qualify, and nurture relationships with new clients.
  • Maintain direct and regular communication with all clients.
  • Utilize direct client relationships to assist with collections and repossessions as necessary.
  • Keep updated and precise records in the CRM system.
  • Deliver prompt, courteous, and accurate service to clients.
  • Stay informed about all policies, products, and programs.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Complete tasks within the allocated budget for travel and entertainment.
  • Participate in trade shows and other relevant events as required.
  • Travel approximately 50% within the designated territory.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Frequent sitting for extended periods in an office setting.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide professional verbal feedback.
  • Capability to analyze data and input it into the computer system.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Normal hearing and vision range.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
  • Experience in truck and/or equipment financing.
  • Background in finance, truck, or equipment sales.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with all Microsoft applications.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a changing market.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical, and drug screening.
