As an Asset Management Accountant, you will utilize your financial expertise and analytical skills to support HCM in effectively managing costs to achieve our financial objectives. Your key responsibilities will encompass assessing actual expenditures, budgeting, and performing month-end evaluations, culminating in the generation of reports that empower management to make informed decisions. To thrive in this position, you should have a solid foundation in data and financial analysis, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Your efforts will be instrumental in our ongoing pursuit of profitability and sustainable business growth.

Salary Range: $80,532.00-$84,770.00 plus overtime and bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop both short-term and long-term capital investment strategies, including internal and external reporting and analysis
  • Provide support and guidance to engineers and cost leads in investment planning, asset capitalization, and disposal processes
  • Manage depreciation calculations, reporting, and analytical assessments
  • Investigate investment discrepancies and compile monthly tracking and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead annual fixed asset audit initiatives, including physical inventory assessments and reporting outcomes
  • Create month-end journal entries, reconcile asset accounts, and manage tax reporting obligations
  • Act as the primary contact for Fixed Asset-related inquiries and ERP master data management
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOX, and HCM accounting standards and policies
  • Oversee and maintain the budgeting system in SAP, assisting management with necessary information and analysis
