About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Ontario Potato Dist. (Alliston) Inc. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Advertise vacancies and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by showing apartments and offices to prospective tenants.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure they are working efficiently.
  • Operate power tools and equipment to perform various tasks.
  • Work under pressure and handle heavy loads with ease.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
