As an Asset Management Accountant, you will utilize your analytical skills and financial expertise to assist HCM in effectively managing costs to achieve our financial objectives. Your role will involve assessing actual expenditures, preparing budgets, and performing month-end evaluations, leading to the generation of reports that support management in making informed decisions. Salary Range: $80,532.00-$84,770.00 plus overtime and bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop both short-term and long-term capital investment strategies, including internal and external reporting and analysis
  • Provide support and guidance to engineers and cost leaders in investment planning, asset capitalization, and disposal processes
  • Manage depreciation calculations, reporting, and analytical reviews
  • Investigate investment discrepancies and compile monthly tracking and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead annual fixed asset audit processes, including physical inventory assessments and reporting outcomes
  • Create month-end journal entries, reconcile asset accounts, and manage tax reporting responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for all Fixed Asset-related inquiries and maintain ERP master data
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOX, and HCM accounting standards and policies
  • Oversee and maintain the budgeting system in SAP, assisting management with necessary information and analysis
