Senior Change Management & Communications Consultant

Reporting to the Director of Change Management & Communications, the Senior Change Management & Communications Consultant will take charge of planning, developing, and executing change management strategies to enhance adoption and utilization while reducing resistance and disruption. The main goal is to introduce the appropriate level of change at the right moment to maximize benefits, create value, and achieve desired results. This dynamic and fulfilling role is perfect for individuals who thrive in collaboration with both senior leadership and peers across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement change management strategies for initiatives impacting various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Employ a structured methodology and tools to devise strategies that facilitate the adoption of necessary changes.
  • Support initiatives with deliverables related to sponsorship, communications, training, resistance management, and monitoring of implemented changes.
  • Identify stakeholders, evaluate the impact of changes on them, and assess readiness for embracing new methodologies.
  • Craft clear and engaging communications that align with brand standards and organizational vision.
  • Address resistance and provide essential training support for change initiatives.
  • Define success metrics and incorporate change management activities into project plans.
  • Build strong relationships with key partners and recommend effective change management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience in developing and executing change management plans and communication strategies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Active listening skills with the capacity to influence and guide stakeholders.
  • Ability to convey messages effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a change management capacity.
  • Change management certification such as ProsciTM.
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.
