Position Overview

As an Assistant Manager at Nov 8 Sushi Galore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of managerial tasks aimed at enhancing our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial reports to enhance and sustain the restaurant's profitability.
  • Budget Development: Create and manage budgets to effectively allocate resources for food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Operational Oversight: Assess daily operations and implement necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of over 20 staff members, ensuring they meet performance standards.
  • Menu and Pricing Strategy: Adjust food preparation techniques and pricing based on budgetary constraints.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations throughout the restaurant.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Engage with suppliers to secure favorable terms for food and other necessary supplies.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns to enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of college or CEGEP.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Word, and point of sale systems.
