Restaurant Operations Manager

Congee Chan is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Budgeting and Financial Management
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to boost profits.
- Develop and manage budgets to determine costs of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
- Operations Management
- Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant's budget.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training to ensure high standards of quality and service.
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff.
- Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Supervise staff and address any performance or conduct issues.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service and that their needs are met.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Marketing and Sales
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive business growth.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- Inventory Management
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are adequate and that waste is minimized.
- Leadership and Development
- Lead and instruct individuals to achieve high standards of quality and service.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth. You will have a proven track record of success in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Education
- College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
- Experience
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
