Restaurant Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service counter and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Operations Management
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and that customer feedback is acted upon.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Personal Qualities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Client-focused and team-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week. Public transportation is available. The work environment is fast-paced and requires standing for extended periods.
