Position Overview

The Medical Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of a healthcare facility. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks that support patient care and ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

The role is situated within a hospital or medical clinic, where collaboration with healthcare professionals is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient interviews to gather comprehensive case histories.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations.
  • Complete necessary insurance and claim documentation.
  • Oversee inventory management and order medical supplies.
  • Establish and implement office procedures and workflows.
  • Prepare and format medical reports and correspondence electronically, as well as create spreadsheets and documents for review.
  • Initiate and maintain confidential patient files and records.
  • Draft meeting agendas and accurately transcribe and distribute minutes.
Security and Safety Protocols
  • Completion of a criminal record check is required.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.

  • Prior experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months is preferred.
  • This is a permanent position.
