Reception and Administration Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Receptionist to join our Human Resources team at EightSix Network. As the first point of contact for visitors to our office, you will be responsible for providing a seamless and positive experience to all colleagues and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain polite and professional communication with colleagues and visitors.
- Administer the fire equipment inspections program, including arranging annual inspections, organizing deficiency repairs, and approving invoices.
- Generate reports, transcribe meeting minutes, create presentations, and conduct research to support business operations.
- Handle office tasks, such as screening calls, managing mail, filing, booking appointments, and reordering supplies.
- Provide executive assistant support to senior management, including travel, meeting, and catering arrangements.
- Organize social events for colleagues and administer the committee budget as Chair of the social committee.
- Arrange lunches, food, and refreshments for the office as needed.
- Administer onsite First Aid and provide administrative support by maintaining safety metrics and identifying trends.
- Perform other related duties as required to support business operations.

- 1+ year of administrative or office-related experience.
- Valid driver's license and consistent access to a vehicle.
- Physically capable of performing the duties of a first aid attendant.
- Event planning or similar experience is a bonus.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Authorized to work in Canada.
