Receptionist/administrative Assistant

Courtenay, Canada CR FIRE SAFETY Full time

Duties:

- Maintain accurate records and record keeping system.
- Proofread documents/reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform clerical duties, including data entry, general administrative support, such as filing, photocopying, answering and directing phone calls.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software. Invoice and receive payments from customers.
- Provide excellent customer support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner
- May be occasionally required to assist technicians, eg. pick up materials from supplier.

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is desired
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- High school diploma required; additional education or certification is a plus

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
