Medical Office Administrator

Nomina is looking for an experienced Office Administrator and Bookeeper for our Courtenay office. The duties of the include but are not limited to:
- Provide all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
- Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls
- Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
- Assist with HR functions with employment contracts & on boarding
- Other administrative duties as directed
- Updating and maintaining patient records
- Managing and maintaining clinical management software, as well as billing
- Transporting clients
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Calculating billing amounts and sending bills to patients and insurance companies
- Maintaining office inventory by ordering new supplies and equipment as needed
- General bookeeping duities including some AR/AP
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Courtenay, BC V9N 2R6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
