Office Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team for a hectic family run business in Sherwood Park AB. The Office Assistant position will be temporary possibly turning fulltime, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
**Duties**:
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide support to the office staff as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle calls in a timely manner
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus
We offer competitive pay based on experience.
