**What we expect**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee investigation of credit risk in customers and suppliers and monitor the collection of amounts due to the organization
- Design and implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables
- Conduct weekly conference calls with branches to discuss problem accounts
- Contact delinquent customers via telephone or letters to discuss payment alternatives
- Mediate between branches and customers to resolve issues with collections
- Calculate the amount of money owed and profit needed and negotiate with customers on payment
- Provide reports on accounts that are overdue 90 days or more on a monthly basis
- Approve credits and periodic hold list
- Approve special billing for customers and maintains special billing accounts on a spreadsheets
- Issue suspension of service notices and final demand letters to non-paying customers
- Investigate the value of the property and project for lien purposes
- Complete paperwork for processing service to serve on customers
- File appropriate paperwork with courts to collect from bankrupt customers
- Attend arbitrations meetings with customers
- Manage the performance of credit and collections personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Who we are looking for**:
Your qualifications
- A minimum of 5-8 years of Credit and Collections experience in the Construction industry, coupled with 2-5 years of experience managing aremote collections team comprised of a minimum of five individual contributors
- University Degree or Diploma in Accounting; coupled by Credit designation
- Knowledge and understanding of Construction Lien Law
- Effective communication skills and proven ability to establish rapport and maintain relationships
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines and achieve goals and objectives
- High sense of urgency and strong work ethic
- Proven ability to manage conflict, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively
