**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Teach using a variety of strategies to support student-centered learning.
- Demonstrate interpersonal communication and knowledge of cultural competency in interactions with the public, colleagues, other professionals and students in internal and external educational and practice settings
- Develop, revise and adapt appropriate learning resources for students
- Evaluate student achievement of learning outcomes using a variety of techniques
- Engage students to create a positive teaching and learning environment
- Demonstrate an ability to work in a team-based work environment
- Use academic technology effectively to enhance and support learning
- Provide and promote a respectful and supportive environment based upon the principles of inclusion, equity and diversity
- Attend meetings and maintain records of student grades/assessments

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology (or equivalent).
- Three years of industry work experience in cybersecurity.
- Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level is an asset.
- Technical expertise in one or more of the following domains:

- _Information Systems Security, Software Security, Communication Networks, Cyber Forensics, Cryptography & Network Security, Web Security, Mobile Network Security, Cloud Security, Ethical Hacking and Defense_
- Experience in teaching and course material development is an asset.
- Demonstrated competent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion to meet the needs of our diverse students, staff and college community.

Proof of credentials or equivalencies from accredited regional or federal post secondary institutions and/or their foreign equivalents will be required at the time of job offer.
