Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance guidelines set out by PureFire Co. and Health Canada;
- Follow day-to-day work plan and assignments given by Chief Financial Officer, or companies other managerial staff;
- General bookkeeping tasks and data entry within QuickBooks including payables, receivables, bank reconciliation, etc.;
- Data entry for inventory control;
- Reporting any deviations found with respect to instructions, process or materials used;
- Be a vital part of the success of Pure Fire Co, working within all departments to ensure all regulations are being upheld;
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, and organizing documents
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and forms
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Cannabis Regulations and Cannabis Act of Canada
- Experience with CTLS and inventory tracking within the cannabis field
- Minimum 2 years experience working in QuickBooks
- Health Canada security clearance an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in typing, filing, and maintaining accurate records
- Familiarity with computerized systems such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
