Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Customer Service team at Whole Foods Market. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Customer Service Associates, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Develop Team Members
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Customer Service Associates.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to ensure they meet performance expectations.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Drive Sales Growth
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and drive business growth.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with other departments to promote products and services.
  • Ensure Excellent Customer Service
    • Develop and implement customer service standards and procedures.
    • Monitor and evaluate customer service performance to ensure high standards are met.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage Operations
    • Oversee daily operations, including cash management, inventory control, and scheduling.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 18 months retail experience and 6 months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to drive growth.
    • Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve customer complaints.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand for long periods and walk up to 6 hours per day.
    • Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters and electric pallet jacks.
  • Environmental Factors
    • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
