About the role

We are currently looking for a Product Manager.

What you'll do here:
  • Works closely with the Pega Development Squad (BA-IT, Developers, Testers), as a stakeholder representative and is responsible for delivering product roadmaps by prioritizing and maintaining the backlog.
  • Liaises and communicates between stakeholders and squads.
  • Keeps communication open with squad members to ensure they are able to meet the deadlines we have committed to and able to provide up-to-date promotion statuses.
  • Prioritizes work for the team with the help of the squad and the Scrum Master.
  • Coordinates and communicates with the product managers of the other squads.
  • Participates in tribal ceremonies and squad ceremonies.
  • Designs the vision and roadmaps; Creates cards in Jira, sets acceptance criteria for stories, approves completed stories.
  • Helps managers with dependencies between squads and in order to remove obstacles.
  • Acts as a rating expert and owns the user experience and business impact.
What you bring to the table:
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in IT, Actuarial Science or in the Operations and Planning department
  • Excellent knowledge of agile methods.
  • Comfortable with Jira, Teams, and Confluence tools.
  • Product Manager designation (asset)
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations and facilitate workshops.
  • Very good understanding of the technical aspects of design and development.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
Qualifications:
  • Autonomous person oriented towards problem solving and achieving results.
  • Ability to lead a team and facilitate daily scrums and prioritization workshops.
  • Planning and project management skills.
  • Diplomacy, ability to influence, and ability to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Positive attitude, creativity, analytical skills and curiosity.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but authorization to work in Canada required.
