The Account Manager is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts on products or services in our Eastern region. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

This position is part of the US CANADA commercial business located in Canada (preference for Montreal or Ottawa region) and will be fully remote from a home-based environment. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute account specific business plans including customer goals, strategic initiatives, opportunity development, relationship mapping, and competitive threats.
  • Lead account team through sales cycle from opportunity discovery through deal closure.
  • Build strong business relationships with customers by earning deep trust and loyalty, driving alignment of their outcomes with Cytiva solutions resulting in mutually beneficial growth.
  • Achieve annual and quarterly sales goals.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations, initiate and plan customer visits at all levels of the account, and work with product specialists in demonstrating the breadth and range of Cytiva's capabilities.

Required Competencies:

  • Five or more years of professional Sales / Account Management experience for biotechnology or life sciences industry.
  • Must be fully Bilingual – English & French to include written communication.
  • Post secondary education is required, biology or similar discipline is preferred.
  • Must have exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, influence and VOC (voice of customer) at all levels.
  • Proficient with CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce) to build sales funnel, accurately forecast, and capture business critical information. Additional requirements include:
  • Eastern Canada location ( Montreal, or Ottawa ) is preferred with ability to travel 30 % as required .
  • Must have valid driver's license .
  • Knowledge of Cytiva products and services offered and/or familiarity with territory accounts is a plus. At Cytiva we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. The base salary range for this role is 80, ,700 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, health insurance and retirement benefits to eligible employees.

• Guider l'équipe de compte tout au long du cycle de vente, de la découverte des opportunités à la conclusion de l'accord.

Compétences requises :
• Cinq ans ou plus d'expérience professionnelle en vente / gestion de compte pour l'industrie de la biotechnologie ou des sciences de la vie.
• Doit être parfaitement bilingue - anglais et français, y compris la communication écrite.
• Une formation post-secondaire est requise, de préférence en biologie ou dans une discipline similaire.
• Doit avoir des compétences exceptionnelles en présentation et en relations interpersonnelles pour favoriser la collaboration, l'influence et la voix du client à tous les niveaux.
• Maîtrise des outils CRM (par exemple Salesforce) pour construire un entonnoir de vente, prévoir avec précision et capturer des informations commerciales critiques.

La fourchette de salaire de base pour ce poste est de à CAD. C'est la fourchette dans laquelle nous croyons de bonne foi être la fourchette de rémunération possible pour ce poste au moment de cette publication. Nous pourrions finalement payer plus ou moins que la fourchette indiquée. Cette fourchette peut être modifiée à l'avenir.
